When oh when will people learn never to make documentaries lest they find themselves in a found footage horror? What started as just another documentary shoot soon becomes a race to escape with their lives. They travel outside of the United States to an undisclosed location where she welcomes them into the world of "Eden Parish," a self-sustained rural utopia, comprised of nearly two hundred members.Īt the centre of this small, religious, socialist community is a mysterious leader known only as "Father." Though it at first appears to be a successful, wonderful place to live, it becomes apparent to the newcomers that this paradise may not be as it seems.
The Sacrament follows two Vice Media correspondents as they set out to document their friend's journey to find his missing sister. The Innkeepers tells the story of the last two hotel assistants of an old hotel Claire and Luke thats about to close and the pair are determined to prove the building is haunted by a hanged woman, they may just get their wish. This trailer is creepy, atmospheric with a great score helps you get into the scary mood right away.
When it comes to horrors especially ghost stories there’s always one bit of advice you should always take “ You mustn’t go down into the basement.” but if your a horror film fanatic you know if you ignore that simple rule especially if your in a haunted building you ignore at your peril. If you were lucky to attend Film 4 Frightfest festival in London you would have caught Ty West’s THE INNKEEPERS starring Sara Paxton, Pat Healy, Kelly McGillis, George Riddle.
